There is an error in Task 5, step 5: The custom firewall rule are using the source "10.128.0.0/9" in this case, all the source starting on 10.128.0.0 to 10.255.255.255 are valid sources. The second VM have an IP in the network 10.202.0.0, so it is allowed to execute a ping and receive a response from 10.128.0.2 (the first VM). I would like to suggest to change de custom rule source from "10.128.0.0/9" to "10.128.0.0/10". With this change, just hosts with IP address betwen 10.128.0.0 and 10.192.255.255 are sources allowed to receive a ping response. So, the second VM (10.202.0.2) will receive a packet loss message (as described in the Task 5, step 7). If you need more details, please contact me: wfelix@ciandt.com
